Booking Process, Gardening Policies & Requirements.

 

Please find below and explanation of the booking process, a list of the policies I act under and the requirements I have for certain services.

1: Booking Process & Explanation.

  • To book a session, simply click the Booking page, select either a Full or half days visit (working hours available below).

  • Once you have selected your preferred service, you will be presented with a simple form asking for name, email address (required by the website), location and an optional box where you can include any other information. Once this is done, I will confirm the visit, or in the event of an issue, will make contact.

2: General Gardening Policies

2.1: Location

  • As I primarily operate in the greater Farnham (GU9) area, I am generally only able to provide services to clients with addresses in the GU9 and surrounding areas, (I will be able to do some locations further away on a case-by-case basis).

2.2: Availability.

For the purposes of scheduling, my default working hours are:

  • Full day = 8am / 4pm

  • Partial Day (Am) 8am – noon.

  • Partial day (Pm) 1pm – 4pm.

Operating days are Monday to Thursday, along with Friday mornings (Concluding at noon).

2.3: General scheduling

  • At present, I am happy to provide services on a: one off, ad hoc, bi weekly, or monthly basis.

  • As the demand for my services often change seasonally, my availability will often reflect this.

  • In some instances, I will make contact to request sessions ​

2.4: Communication.

  • Communication is primarily through WhatsApp, though bookings on the site will send confirmation via email.

2.5: Payment rate

  • [Update April 2026] The Gardening Rates (As of April 6th) have been updated to £17 per hour. Session booked under the previous rate (£15 per hour), will be honored, but session booked after April 7th, will be charged at new rate.  

  • After completing a day’s work, an informal invoice will be sent (via WhatsApp), listing the work undertaken, the number of hours, and payment amount, which can be transferred via bank (payment details will be sent with first invoice.)​

2.6: Rescheduling and cancellation.

  • In some instances, I may inquire if clients, who have booked 4/3 hour sessions, can move the timing of the visit, In the event I am working two consecutive half days. (e.g I might try move 2 half day sessions, booked for different days onto the same day). Any such changes will only be make with client consent. 

  • Whilst I prefer to keep changed and disruptions because of weather to a minimum, any bookings made in advance, are subject to the weather conditions on the selected day and may require a decision made on a case-by-case basis, to either:

  • Continue with a prior booking, adjusting the work to reflect the weather.

  • Or rebooking a visit, to a day with more suitable conditions.

  • In the event of extreme weather (Heavy Rain/Frost, or Temperatures exceeding 28 degrees Celsius) Early conclusion or cancellation may be required.

3: Working Requirements & Restrictions.

  • Owing to some of my tools being cable powered, access to an electrical socket (within 50m of working location) is generally required for certain services. 

  • When pressure washing patios, access to a hose tap, with compatible connector is required.  

  • Whilst I am more than happy to deposit gardening waste into: Gardening bin bags (which I can supply), into brown bins, or deposit into a specified location. I will not be able to transport any gardening waste generated off site, due to several practical, cost and logistical considerations.

  • Whilst I do provide my own electrical & cable tools such as: Hedge Trimmers & Lawn Mower, leaf blowers, etc and am willing to use clients’ tools if asked, I will not be able to provide any chainsaw related services. 

  • In instances where I need to purchase materials, approximate measurement of the garden may be required to ensure that the appropriate quantity is ordered
